CCTVfocus started out as an internationally distributed, independent CCTV magazine. First published in August of 1999, CCTVfocus was different to other industry publications, as it was dedicated to the CCTV, and not the security industry as a whole. It was also the first publication of it’s kind to be focused on the industry globally, rather than in one specific nation.

Since first being published, CCTVfocus was released bi-monthly, up until 2006, when physical print of the magazine ceased. CCTVfocus has freely distributed it’s articles in PDF format on the internet, and continues to do so at cctv-focus.com

In keeping up with the times, the new CCTVfocus is now purely in digital format. Released as a regular “blog” style writing instrument, here on this site, with the intent to maintain it’s global focus and objective writings.

CCTVfocus is regarded by many as a premier source in technical articles, demystifying of technology, keeping up with industry trends, and expert understandings on everything CCTV.

Edited by world-renowned specialist Vlado Damjanovski, this site hopes to continue the respected tradition established by the magazine.
