First off, a big welcome to the new CCTVfocus site.
We’ll be keeping the old site running parallel for a while at cctv-focus.com if you should need to download any of the old articles.

As you may know, we are no longer a printed magazine, and so we have decided to enter the world of “web 2.0″ and beginning blogging regularly on industry technology, feature articles, opinion pieces, and hardware reviews.

Unlike other industry related “News websites” we will do what we are doing best - demistify new technologies, analyse products and designs and educate the industry.

At the same time, being a blogging site, we will allow for technically minded colleagues to voice their opinion too, debate technical issues and exchange information.

We’ve tried to make the site pretty easy to navigate, and as usual there is search functionality if you need to find something.

In accordance with now being a completely internet based publication, there is no regular writing or release schedule, so we recommend that you either bookmark the site and check back frequently for the latest articles, or alternatively, use the RSS feed button up the top right to add this site to your RSS reader, Google Reader, Yahoo! Reader, etc.

Every article features a comment section down the bottom. We hope that you give your feedback and commentary wherever you have something to say, or a question to ask!

Often, the discussions at the bottom of an article can be just as enlightening as the article itself. (Please note, that while we require your email address for you to post a comment, it is not published, nor do we share your details with anybody).

If you regularly comment, please register with the site, so that you can track if anybody responds to your comments!

So all that being said, content will begin being posted day by day. We hope you enjoy the new format, and as always, stay focused.
